Monopol Vodka is one of the many vodka product of Estonian Remedia Distillery. It’s made from imported rectified spirit, filtered and diluted by specially purified water. 20cl bottle was 3.19€ at Maxima.

Monopol is very typical “estonian” vodka. Neutral, a bit ethanol on nose and taste, burn slightly and have some bitterness on aftertaste. It’s clean and neutral, do not have any side tastes, but it’s boring and lacks character. There is nothing on the taste which awake interest. Not any grain flavour or else, which would tell the raw material used. For it’s neutral and light taste I’d said it’s made from wheat, manufactured and imported from USA. It’s cheap bulk product, difficult to say anything good or bad.
